Helpdesk

The Legal Helpdesk assisted national renewable energy associations and consortium members, local and regional policy makers and legislators, as well as other stakeholders and the interested public with the implementation of the Directive 2009/28/EC into national law and the creation of a stable and solid legislative framework for the development of renewable energy in the Member States. The Legal Helpdesk had three dimensions: Internally, it assisted the consortium members, and in particular the national renewable energy associations. Externally, local and regional policy makers and legislators hve been involved in the implementation of Directive 2009/28/EC, as well as national renewable energy associations not members of the consortium could submit their questions via the Legal Advice Facility. For the broader public, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and other guidance documents and information have been available online.
