PAST EVENTS

Before Ireland had taken over the presidency in the Council of the EU on 1 January 2013, in the framework of Keep-on-track!, EUFORES organised a breakfast meeting with the Irish Energy Attaché of the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the EU, Michael Goodwin, and Director of Renewable Energy in the Department of Energy in Ireland, Martin Finucane. Mr. Goodwin and Mr. Finucane discussed the political priorities of the incoming Irish EU Council Presidency concerning renewable energy sources with Members of the European Parliament. Lucie Tesnière from EREC introduced the KoT project and its findings of RES 2020 trajectories to the attending MEPs and Energy Attaché’s.
