PAST EVENTS

At this conference, EUFORES aimed at gathering 100 of the most active parliamentarians in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency from national parliaments and the European Parliament, as well as a select group of other participants, such as officials of national governments, the European Commission and selected representatives from industry and the scientific sector. This year’s IPM was organised in cooperation with the Irish Parliament and in association with the Irish EU Presidency. The programme had a strong focus on the North Seas Area (wind energy, ocean energy, grid infrastructure). Friday - 21 June - was organised in the framework of Keep-on-track, with a special dedicated session on the Member States trajectory of their 2020 Renewables Targets.
