On May 27, BEE held a national industry workshop. The EU Renewable Energy Directive gives Member States tailored climate targets for 2020. For Germany, the binding national target to increase the share of renewable energy by 2020 is 18 per cent. The workshop discussed if Germany "is still on track" for reaching the target, with a specific look into the fiels of renewable  electricity, heat and mobility.
